Basic B.Sc Nursing
Course Overview
The Basic B.Sc. Nursing is a 4-year undergraduate program aimed at preparing students to assume responsibilities as professional, competent nurses and midwives in providing promotive, preventive, curative, and rehabilitative services. It prepares nurses who can make independent decisions in nursing situations, protect the rights of and facilitate individuals and groups in pursuit of health.
Eligibility Criteria
- Candidate should have passed 10+2 with Science (PCB) & English Core/English Elective with aggregate of 45% marks from recognized board under AISSCE/CBSE/ICSE/SSCE/HSCE or other equivalent Board.
- Candidate should be medically fit.
- Minimum age for admission shall be 17 years on 31st December of the year in which admission is sought.
- Students appearing in 10+2 examination in Science conducted by National Institute of Open School with 45% marks.
- Candidate must have qualified NEET (National Eligibility cum Entrance Test) or entrance exam as per State Govt norms.
Admission Process
Admissions are conducted based on merit through the centralized admission process or as per the directions of the Maharashtra University of Health Sciences, Nashik and Government of Maharashtra.
